BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
John
Graniero is the Director of the AFRL Information Directorate Information
Institute. The Information Institute is
a consortium of Universities performing research in information technology of
interest to the Information Directorate.
The Institute fosters collaborative research among and between its
academic members and the Information Directorate.
Mr.
Graniero recently retired from AFRL after over thirty-five years of federal
service. He has extensive experience in
broad and specialized areas of Information Technology and Command, Control and
Communications. His positions at AFRL’s
Information Directorate and its predecessor organizations included:

Chief
Scientist, Air Force Research Laboratory, Information Directorate

Chief
Scientist, Rome Laboratory Command, Control and Communications Directorate

Technical
Director of the Rome Laboratory Communication Directorate

Manager and
Technical Leader of the Rome Laboratory and Air Force Program in Signal Processing
for Communications and Surveillance.
Upon retiring
from the Information Directorate, Mr. Graniero formed JAG Technologies as a
sole-proprietorship for consulting services in Information Technology.
