The Invitation

Our 15 Slots are Full!

Thank you for your interest in the Graduate Student Focus Group Luncheon. Unfortunately, our 15 slots are full. I apologize that our budget and time constraints allowed us to work with so few.

The interest in this luncheon has been overwhelming. To date I have received 46 responses! Your interest only adds to the importance and necessity of this and future graduate student activities.

Based on the response, we are encouraging you to self-organize a social activity. May I suggest that on Wednesday evening, September 3rd, you meet in the lobby of the Chicago Marriott Downtown Hotel (the Conference hotel) at 6:15 PM and go enjoy yourselves! Please be aware that there are several activities going on at the conference at all hours of the day and that you are encouraged to review your other obligations with your advisor.

If you happen to discuss activities of interest to graduate students while you are socializing on Wednesday evening, I would appreciate the opportunity to hear what you discussed! In fact, please do not hesitate to stop me when you see me at the Conference and share your thoughts or just email them to me!

Thanks again,
Drew
